KGF is the narrative of the most ridiculously feared criminal Rough and his mission to acquire power on the planet. In spite of Rough's criminal foundation, he battles for poor people and the treachery against them. The plot of the film spins around the tale of Rough Bhai, the most hazardous criminal dreaded by crowds across districts. In the wake of losing his mom at a youthful age, Rough sets off on an excursion to turn into the most influential man, which drives him to a gold mine called Kolar Gold Fields.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ features Yash as the lead actor and Srinidhi Shetty as the leading lady. Sanjay Dutt will be seen as the main antagonist, while Raveena Tandon will be seen in an important role. The second installment of the two-part series is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘K.G.F: Chapter 1.’

It is the most expensive Kannada film with a budget of ₹100 crores. KGF 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 April 2022 in Kannada along with the dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
